It was the 1960's. Dewey Weber was known around town [and the world] as the biggest surfboard manufacturer out there. Based out of southern California, Dewey Weber Surfboards is still around, run by the late Weber's family and kids. Their slogan "Close to the soul" is what they still base their company off of today.
